The presence of Xiaomi on the entry level continues to strengthen. After formalizing the Redmi Note 9, Note 9S and Note 9 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer lifts the veil on the Redmi 9 which it intends to market from 159.90 euros in France.
A very aggressive proposition
The Redmi 9 offers a 6.53 inch LCD and Full HD + screen. An 8 megapixel camera reserved for selfies is installed in a notch in the shape of a drop of water. At the rear, there is a quadruple sensor composed of a 13-megapixel wide-angle (f / 2.2), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle (118 °; f / 2.2), a macro of 5 megapixel (f / 2.4) and a 2 megapixel depth sensor (f / 2.4).
Xiaomi turns to MediaTek and its SoC Helio G80 to animate its new entry-level smartphone. This configuration is completed by 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal expandable memory.
Like Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi 9 shelters a battery of 5020 mAh compatible fast charge 18W. On the connection side, the Xiaomi terminal has a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm audio jack output. Finally, it supports Bluetooth 5 and NFC.
