Xiaomi formalizes the Poco M2 Pro, a gem under $ 200 July 15, 2020 – Posted in: Smartphone news

Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Poco, has just officially launched its latest smartphone. Here is the Poco M2 Pro. It is simply a Redmi Note 9 Pro with some developments.

Of course, it is impossible to confuse the technical data sheet of the M2 Pro with that of a flagship. However, this smartphone like the Pocophone F1 offers excellent features at an unbeatable price. For less than $ 200, the Poco M2 Pro has a 5000mAh battery and a 33W quick charger. According to the manufacturer, the smartphone can restore 50% of its battery in just 30 minutes.

Equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, this smartphone looks great, but at a very low price. In terms of design, it has a 6.67-inch 1080p LCD screen, so it’s pretty big. In addition, the Poco M2 Pro has 4 photo sensors: 48 megapixels in main mode, 8 megapixels in ultra-wide mode, 5 megapixels in macro mode and 2 megapixels in depth mode.

What will the prices be?

The M2 Pro offers a fingerprint sensor directly on the power switch. Different versions are sold in green, black or blue, but in particular with 4 or 6 GB RAM and 64 or 128 GB storage. Obviously, the Poco M2 Pro has a slot to insert an SD card to add even more storage space to the device.

Approximately $ 185 is required for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB memory version, while for the 6 GB RAM and 64 GB memory version, it is $ 200 and $ 225 for 6 GB -RAM and 128 GB memory are needed.

Like its predecessor, the Poco M2 Pro will be available exclusively for the Indian market from July 14th. This decision to focus on the Indian market could change quickly as India starts a Chinese anti-technology campaign and has just removed more than 60 applications from China. Xiaomi is inevitably affected by this decision.
