Oppo unveils its Find X2 Lite, a mid-range 5G compatible July 15, 2020 – Posted in: Smartphone news
Certain brands, notably Chinese, have become known for their “flagship killers”, smartphones capable of competing with the best models on the market but sold at lower prices. OnePlus, which had built its reputation on this niche, seems to be gradually moving away from it. Just look at the price of the latest models from the manufacturer to be convinced; the OnePlus 8 is offered at 699 euros and the 8 Pro flirts with 900 euros. We can also cite Xiaomi with its Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro at 799 euros and 999 euros but the company intends to launch in May a Lite version at 400 euros rather well equipped and supporting 5G.
This upmarket strategy is also found at Oppo with the Find X2 Pro, displayed at 1,199 euros. However, as it is necessary to maintain sales volumes, the manufacturer does not forget to develop more accessible variants. Oppo has just presented its Find X2 Lite which will be marketed in Portugal at a price of 499 euros, the brand has not confirmed its launch in France yet.
A mid-range 5G
The device has a 6.4 inch AMOLED panel, but you have to settle for a Full HD + definition and a 60 Hz refresh rate. Under its cover is a mid-range SoC Snapdragon 765G compatible 5G, as well as 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The 4,025 mAh battery has fast 30-watt recharge.
Regarding the photo part, it is based on a module with four sensors. A main lens of 48 megapixels, an ultra wide-angle of 8 megapixels and two other more anecdotal sensors of 2 Mpx to improve the portrait mode. Finally, it runs on Android 10 with the Color OS 7 overlay and has a fingerprint reader under the screen.
