For the first time, the OnePlus Nord appears in an advertising video July 15, 2020 – Posted in: Smartphone news
The media has been talking about the new affordable smartphone from OnePlus for some time. As the devices approach the high-end models from brands such as Samsung, Huawei or Apple, they also cost more. For this reason, OnePlus has decided for fans who are looking for cheaper smartphones with interesting functions to revive the mid-range devices. The new affordable smartphone, usually released in July this year, is called “OnePlus North”. In an interview a few days ago, OnePlus announced that this smartphone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 765G processor and that it will be equipped with a range of cameras that will bring it to the same level as the premium models that price is no longer available.
And today the OnePlus Nord appears for the first time in an advertising video for the brand. OnePlus has created a special Instagram account to tease the north. And one of the IGTV videos in this account finally gives us an idea of what this device will look like.
OnePlus Nord: a mid-range processor, but cameras from premium models?
The Android Authority website has analyzed this video and indicates that when viewing OnePlus Nord there should be two cameras on the front. Rumor has it that the OnePlus Nord will have a 32-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle.
The video also allows us to see the back of this device. If this does not allow how many cameras there are, we can assume that there is space for three or four cameras on the back.
Otherwise, OnePlus has already indicated that the price for this smartphone will be less than 500 euros. This makes it a competitor for models such as the iPhone SE 2020, the Mi Note 10 Pro, the Redmi Note and the Samsung Galaxy A smartphones. If premium models allow manufacturers to take advantage of the latest innovations, mid-range devices that are cheaper can increase sales.
